It's for homeowners new and longtime. New to Marin? Missing trash day for a month is normal here, and so is calling the wrong district about your sewer. Been here forever? There's still a rebate you haven't claimed.

Kim Neumann lives in San Anselmo, where a family of raccoons once moved into her crawl space. The man who came to evict them brought tennis balls and a jug of “natural predator deterrent.” Didn't work. Each week she rounds up the agendas from every town in Marin, the county and the special districts (yes, the sewer districts too), and writes up the rules, rebates and deadlines that matter to your house.
