Year of the Fire Horse has officially kicked off, and we’ve got multiple spots to check out this year’s Lion Dance (belated 90th!! birthday wishes to Coach Ben!!)
Sausalito Crab Festival tickets may be sold out, but there are other places (dare we say, less crowded, with comfy heat lamps, and REAL indoor restrooms?) where you can crack away at your local seasonal favorite.
Margaritas are also on the menu this week, so if you’re looking for a spot to celebrate National Margarita Day, we’ve got just the place. And, after concocting this week’s date night idea (it’s a good one) I’m SO looking forward to hearing back on how it all went. Don’t leave a girl hanging!
Enjoy,

3. National Margarita Day, Taco Jane’s – San Anselmo
What you’re seeing here is Taco Jane’s (deeeelicious) Hibiscus Margarita, but IN FACT, there is a very special Orgeat Margarita and also a Frozen Spicy Strawberry Margarita on the menu for #nationalmargaritaday. You’ll want to get some fish tacos with that.
4. Date Night: Wu Wei Temple – Fairfax
This week’s date night is inspired by someone’s (mine) actual Valentine’s date night. The fun part is that a.) it’s unusual, b.) your date has never been before c.) it’s been so long, you don’t even remember it, and d.) you get to discover/lose yourself in/become one with the world of… kava. All that, and there’s THIS happening Saturday:
5. Sweat it out, Red Dragon – Mill Valley + San Rafael
At some point during the final weekend of ski week, you’re going to want a nice little reset. May I suggest… hot pilates?
