Let the battle begin! 🎸

We caught a swing band a few weekends back—complete with a friend on drums and a floor full of dancers so proficient they nearly kicked our table’s mini-vase of wildflowers into last week.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, could break my Swingers trance—i.e. my latent desire to be a lindy-hop pro (straight to the aerials and flip-kicks, thankyouvettymuch)—until now, when I did some quick math and realized it’s been 30 years since that movie came out.

Has it really been three decades since 1996?? Really, Vince Vaughn? 😭

Existential crisis aside, this week’s selection features so much local talent, you too might find yourself having a 30-year FOMO moment.
