Classic Cars, Garden Gawking, and a Swifty Sunday

What’s your fave eggs benedict spot in Marin? If you just blurted out Barefoot Cafe!! OMG, SOOOO GOOOOD! I’m getting my flippy-floppies on right now and meeting you there.

That’s my one brunch recommendation for Mother’s day. The rest of the list is things moms may or may not like, and if I’m being honest, don’t even happen on actual Mother’s Day.

But for many of us, WE’RE the mom. We also HAVE a mom. And then there’s the mom-in-law, plus your sister– SHE was a mom before you were even THINKING about being a mom…

So after we’re done texting and phoning all the moms in our lives – thanking one in particular for all the times she parted with the other half of her tomato sandwich because your mouth was literally watering (summer garden tomatoes, am I right?) even though you weren’t even that hungry, but her sandwiches were so much better than yours somehow –– after all that thanking and appreciating, we might want to claim our much-deserved eggs benedict brunch after all. 🍳 🌸
